1. General

1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Finch Detailing, a car valeting and detailing company based in the UK.

1.2. By booking a service with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Bookings

2.1. All bookings are subject to availability.

2.2. Bookings can be made by phone or in person at our business location.

2.3. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all bookings.

2.4. You must provide accurate information regarding the vehicle, including size, condition, and service location.

2.5. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service, unless agreed otherwise.

 

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1. Prices are quoted based on vehicle size, condition, and selected package. Additional charges may apply for excessive dirt, pet hair, or stains.

3.2. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless agreed otherwise.

3.3. We only accept cash or bank transfer for payments.

3.4. Invoices are available upon request. Please inform us if you require an invoice for your payment.

 

4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1. We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

4.2. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total service quoted.

4.3. The 20% deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

4.4. Rescheduling due to adverse weather conditions or other similar factors does not affect the deposit, and the original deposit will be carried over to the new booking date.

4.5. No refunds will be issued for completed services, but if you are unhappy, please contact us within 24 hours.

 

5. Service Conditions

5.1. The vehicle must be available at the agreed time and location.

5.2. The vehicle must be located in a safe, accessible area to allow for work to be completed (not on a busy road or in an unsafe location).

5.3. Access to water and electricity must be provided if required (unless a fully mobile, self-sufficient service is offered).

5.4. The customer confirms they have the legal authority or permission to grant usage of water and/or electricity at the service location.

5.5. We are not responsible for any damage, losses, or costs incurred as a result of the usage of water and/or electricity at the service location.

5.6. Child seats must be removed and replaced by the customer before the service. We are not responsible for handling or reinstalling child seats.

5.7. We reserve the right to refuse service if the vehicle is in an unsafe or unsanitary condition (e.g., hazardous waste, infestations).

5.8. We do not guarantee the removal of all stains or defects, especially if permanent damage is present.

 

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1. Remove all personal items and valuables from the vehicle before service.

6.2. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.

6.3. Inform us of any existing damage or special requirements.

 

7. Liability

7.1. We are insured for public liability and damage caused by our negligence.

7.2. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, defects, or wear and tear.

7.3. In the rare event of damage caused during the service, please notify us within 24 hours of the service completion.

7.4. After 24 hours, we are not responsible for any damage that may be discovered or reported. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect the vehicle promptly after the service.

 

8. Weather and Delays

8.1. Services may be postponed due to adverse weather conditions if they affect quality or safety.

8.2. In the event of rescheduling, the 20% deposit will still be valid, and no additional charges will be made for the rescheduled service.

8.3. We will notify you and reschedule as soon as possible.

 

9. Complaints

9.1. If you are unhappy with the service, please contact us within 24 hours so we can resolve the issue.

9.2. We aim to respond to complaints within 48 hours.

 

10. Privacy Policy

10.1. We collect personal information solely for booking and service purposes.

10.2. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

11. Photos and Videos

11.1. Photos and/or videos may be taken of your vehicle before, during, and after the service for social media, marketing, and advertising purposes.

11.2. By booking our service, you consent to the use of these photos and videos on Finch Detailing’s social media channels and marketing materials.

11.3. We are not responsible for any photos or videos shared or distributed by third parties (including but not limited to customers, social media users, or other external platforms).

11.4. If you do not wish for your vehicle to be photographed or filmed, please inform us prior to the service.

 

12. Amendments

12.1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

12.2. The most current version will be available on our website or by request.

 

By booking our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
